Ethics of the Heart
MASTERCLASS Series
Explore your relationship with the yogic principles of universal morality
Ethics of the Heart is a Masterclass series about the first 2 limbs of the yogic path (as described in Patanjali’s yoga sutras.)
The Niyamas are known as the “observances” to how we relate to ourselves. They are empowered by the quality of Yamas in our life.
The Yamas are known as the “restraints” of how we relate to the world. They reflect how we choose to engage with the world around us.
To practice yoga means learning to honor it’s origin with all 10 of these fundamental principles~giving the foundation for a spiritual lifestyle.
Embody Ancient Ethics
If you live in the “western” world and have taken a yoga class before, chances are you did something that looked and sounded like yoga, but it was a workout.
This is how white supremacy has monetized and culturally appropriated yoga philosophy~using selective appreciation to remove the sacred foundation from yoga asana, the 3rd limb.
So In order to truly honor yoga as a whole, The Chi Tree reflects honoring your wholeness as a spiritually, sovereign being having a human experience.
The yogic path is divided into 8 branches because you are multidimensional. When you embody the truth of each limb that is how you achieve liberation (Moksha) or self-realization (Samadhi).
That’s what Ethics of the Heart is here for.
This series will not only educate you about the practical fundamentals of yoga philosophy, but each masterclass is designed for students who want to expand the understanding of their moral compass, embody spiritual sovereignty, and align action with what they claim to believe as ethical practice.

Frequently Asked Questions-
Every masterclass starts off with setting the intention for whatever is learned in that space is for the highest good and growth for all beings in all places.
Then after a little self-check in, each class has a similar structure but is flexible in nature. So depending on the principle we are learning about, there’s usually a discussion about the sutras, but more specifically how they relate to modern day life.
Then after learning, we journal and reflect on how these morals show up or are lacking in life. This is followed up with an embodiment practice of some sorts. These can include but isn’t limited to Asana, pranayama, meditation, energy work, visualisation, dance, etc.
Every class is intended to have some kind of embodiment challenge or home play, for you take the teachings with you so you can continue to learn.

The reason the EotH series is every month, is to ensure that you have adequate time to prepare and process for the direct action aligned with that principle.
We can easily talk about something but if you are not in a space that holds you accountable, that provides practical applications, and makes it fun while doing it~ people are less likely to learn or even retain any of the information.
By giving the Chi Tree’s Collective Channel members a month to digest the theme with a Oracle Update at the beginning of the month, then touch base on it at the bi-weekly Tea Parties (NEW on Skool), this gives plenty of informal learning to support the more formal learning.

The Chi Tree Community is free for anyone on Skool that wants to be part of a private spiritual group to talk about their experiences and learn from each other.
The premium membership ($33/month) is what provides initial access to the Masterclass Series on Skool. This is one of the only ways to access it.
The VIP membership ($77) also known as the sacred nest subscription is also another way to access the Masterclass series, but it comes with more perks!
The main differences are:
~ The Community Space is free and doesn’t have access to this series
~ The Premium Membership (Collective Channel) is unlimited and grants access to the series
~ The VIP Membership is limited and grants access to the series. -
Yes! For those that participate in the Masterclass and are part of the Chi Tree Collective or higher, will have access to replays in the classroom on Skool.
If there is no class that week, due to a lack of participation, a replay may not be available for the month specifically.
